Copycat Texas Roadhouse Steak Rub

A basic mix of fixings from this great steakhouse that will draw out the best flavor in your next chicken or steak! 


Fixings 

1.5 tablespoons coarse fit salt 

2 teaspoons darker sugar 

1/4 teaspoon cornstarch 

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 

1/4 teaspoon garlic salt 

1/4 teaspoon onion powder 

1/4 teaspoon turmeric 

1/2 teaspoon paprika 

1/2 teaspoon bean stew powder 

1 teaspoon dark pepper 

Guidelines 

Join all fixings in a gallon-sized plastic pack and seal it firmly. Shake it to completely consolidate all fixings. 

Liberally spread each side of the steak with the flavoring and let it rest for around 40 minutes. This enables the salt to infiltrate through the surface (as a natural by-product) and really helps separate the muscle strands, which results in an increasingly delicate meat. Amid this time, the fluid that at first surfaced has room schedule-wise to reabsorb, which makes the meat juicer. 

When the flame broil is decent and hot, place the steak(s) on and cook for 4-5 minutes, until it's sautéed and somewhat scorched. Flip it over and cook for the accompanying extra time: 

5 minutes: Medium Uncommon 

7 minutes: Medium 

10 minutes: Well Done
